Being a leader in sustainability is core to Lemon Perfect’s mission. We believe every small action counts in the global effort toward creating a more sustainable world, and we are committed to producing a bottled water that is better for the planet.
Plastic Neutral Product
3 billion people worldwide currently lack access to controlled waste disposal, resulting in 91% of plastic waste not being recycled. Lemon Perfect is proud to be certified Plastic Neutral, which means that for every bottle of Lemon Perfect sold, we fund the removal of the one-bottle equivalent of plastic waste from the environment, reducing our plastic footprint to net zero.
In 2023, we surpassed our annual commitment to remove 3.5 million pounds of plastic waste globally. To achieve this bold goal, we partnered with the industry leaders at rePurpose Global. Through this partnership, we have successfully financed the recovery of verified nature- and ocean-bound plastic waste.
Our contribution has directly removed and recovered plastic waste from several regions across India. Lemon Perfect has aided in the collection and ethical processing of low-value plastic waste that would otherwise be dumped in overflowing and hazardous landfills or water sources. So far, we have removed over 1,600 metric tons of plastic from India. While being certified Plastic Neutral is an important step toward producing a bottled water that is better for the planet, it is not the only step.
